Call for professional resource mobilization

We are excited to invite experienced and talented resource mobilizers to collaborate with us for the upcoming Sugar Industry Innovation Symposium and Expo 2024. This prestigious event will take place from the 5th to the 7th of December 2024 at the Grand Royal Swiss Hotel in Kisumu, bringing together industry stakeholders, innovators, policymakers, and researchers from across the sugar sector.

As our event approaches, we seek resource mobilizers to help us secure the necessary funding and resources to ensure a successful and impactful symposium. Your role will be crucial in attracting sponsorships, donors, and partnerships that align with the event's vision of driving innovation, sustainability, and growth within the sugar value chain.

Responsibilities

−	Sponsorship and Funding Acquisition: Proactively identify and engage potential sponsors, donors, and strategic partners to support the symposium and expo.
−	Proposal Development: Craft compelling proposals and presentations tailored to potential sponsors and donors, highlighting the event's value and opportunities.
−	Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with sponsors, donors, and partners, ensuring their ongoing engagement and satisfaction.
−	Resource Planning: Collaborate with the organizing team to assess resource needs and develop a comprehensive resource mobilization strategy.
−	Tracking and Reporting: Monitor the progress of resource mobilization efforts and provide regular reports on outcomes and recommendations for improvement. Qualifications
−	Proven experience in resource mobilization, fundraising, or related fields.
−	Strong network and connections within the corporate sector, industry organizations, and philanthropic entities.
−	Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade potential sponsors and donors.
−	Strategic thinker with the ability to develop creative and effective resource mobilization strategies.
−	Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
